Queued

Queued Clubs

The button turns green at 9:00 sharp.

A school padel club, a parent on their phone on a Saturday morning, a place given out fairly — by draw, by speed, or however your club decides. Set up a branded join code, run the games, and stop refereeing the group chat.

How it works

Two people, one Saturday morning.

The organiser sets it up once a term. The parent does the whole thing from a phone, standing in the kitchen.

For the organiser

  1. 01

    Create your club

Name, school, sport, your colours and logo, and a payment link if you take one. Four or five fields, done in one sitting.

  2. 02

    Get your code & QR

A six-character code — PADL7K, say — and a poster to print or drop in the parents' WhatsApp group.

  3. 03

    Set the games

One-off, or recurring — Saturday 9am, every week for the term — created in one go, weeks ahead.

  4. 04

Choose how places are given out

Pick from five fairness modes, per series or per game. This is the decision that actually matters.

  5. 05

    Approve players, take results

Approve new profiles if you require it, record who won each court, and let a no-show quietly restrict itself.

For the parent

  1. 01

    Scan or type the code

Straight to your club's own page — your badge, your colours, not a generic form.

  2. 02

    Email code, no password

One code sent to their inbox. Nothing to remember, nothing to reset next term.

  3. 03

    A quick profile

Their child's name, ability, and a photo — so the coach can put a face to a name on day one.

  4. 04

    See this week's games

Dates, times, courts, and how many places are left, before they commit to anything.

  5. 05

However the club runs it — a draw, a sprint at nine, a request the organiser approves.

  6. 06

Get the email, then pay the club

A confirmation lands, and if there's a fee, the club's own payment link is right there in it.

The fairness question

Five ways to hand out a place.

Every mode fills the same number of courts. What changes is who wins the place when there are more names than spaces — and that's a decision worth making on purpose.

01

Random draw

When demand regularly outstrips courts

Anyone can register up to a deadline; at the deadline a random draw fills the places and everyone else lands on the waitlist in draw order. It's fair because nobody's phone speed or Wi-Fi decides who gets in — a coin toss does, and a coin toss doesn't play favourites.

02

First-come-first-served window

When you want punctuality to matter

Nothing can be clicked before the window opens; the button goes from a countdown to green at the exact second, and places go in arrival order. It's fair because the rule is the same for everyone and the server — not a parent's clock — decides who was first.

03

Club approval

When you want a human making the call

Players request a place and the organiser approves or declines each one. It's fair because you can weigh things a formula can't — a sibling who missed last week, a new joiner who needs a run-out — and say why.

04

Ranked by points

For squads that reward showing up

Registrations close, then the leaderboard decides: highest points first, ties broken randomly. It's fair to your regulars — it rewards the players who turn up week after week, not just the ones who happen to be free that Saturday.

05

Fair share

For a club that wants everyone to get a game

Registrations close, then priority goes to whoever's played fewest games in the last eight weeks, ties broken randomly. It's fair to your occasional players — it stops the same six names filling every game while everyone else waits.

After the whistle

Results, points, and a leaderboard.

Record results per court
Win, draw or loss for each player. Points are awarded automatically, and re-recording a result cleanly replaces the last one.
A leaderboard that updates itself
Approved players ranked by points, then wins — visible to the whole club, not just the coach's spreadsheet.
No-show penalties, handled quietly
Marking a no-show docks points and restricts sign-ups for a period you set — so the coach isn't the one chasing it up personally.
Announcements
Post news, pin what matters, and optionally email it to the whole club — a cancelled game, a change of court, a well-done to the under-14s.

Questions

Asked by organisers.

Is Queued Clubs only for padel?
No — any sport, any school or club, any country. Padel, tennis, football, netball, hockey, whatever your school or club runs. You set the sport when you create the club.
Does Queued take payments?
No — Queued doesn't process payments for club sign-ups. You paste your own payment link (your school office's payment page, a club bank transfer note, whatever you already use) and it goes out on the confirmation email. Parents pay the club directly.
Can parents sign up more than one child?
One profile per email today, so a parent with two children playing signs each one up from its own email address for now.
What actually happens at the draw?
At the moment sign-ups close, a random draw fills the available places and everyone else is waitlisted in draw order. Every registrant gets an email — confirmed or waitlisted — and if someone confirmed withdraws, the next person on the waitlist is promoted automatically.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a club works free for 14 days from creation, so you can set everything up and run a first week's games before paying anything.
Is Queued Clubs the same plan as the waitlist product?
No — Queued Clubs is a separate £9.99/month plan for school and club sports sign-ups, not the walk-in waitlist Free/Pro/Business plans on the main pricing page.
